Ok, so I wasn’t sure when this parcel arrived, exactly what to expect. The team have sent me so much to try, it’s going to give me more to write about than I could’ve imagined. And this isn’t a bad thing. I love being descriptive and creative, and when it’s something I’m passionate about like flavor, well I’ve got some stories for ya.
I started out wondering what to try first as I’d received the parcel in the afternoon. Now I’m currently working night shifts, so this is when I brush my teeth and grab coffee.
I’d already tried the SYX Wild Cherry and the SYX Tropical, so knew I’d love them immediately. I found a can of 12mg Salty Caramel nicotine pouches at the bottom of the package. Instantly curiosity took hold of me. How will this taste with my usual treat of hazelnut coffee?
It went amazingly. Way better than I could’ve imagined. The Salty Caramel flavor has this almost smokey sweetness to it. Like you can taste the caramel big time. I don’t know how they’ve done it, but I’m a fan. This is closer than any caramel vape flavor I’ve ever tasted, or made. It’s now a favorite to have with my coffee in the morning, and I’m going to have to order more soon.
With everything that was in the package, I’ve got multiple nicotine pouch flavors to try, with a different nicotine strength for most of them. I decided the next day to have a low strength Peppermint nicotine pouch before having my coffee. The tin says these are 2.8mg per pouch.
I can say at this low level the nicotine bite is nearly unnoticeable, but the flavor doesn’t suffer at all. In fact the flavor caught me off guard. It’s like the sweet powdery peppermint stick flavor is the best way I can describe it. No chemical taste like you’d get in vape liquids. Nor did I feel like it had a ton of cool flavoring that’s usually used in peppermint flavors, making it more enjoyable in my opinion.
I kept this in for roughly half an hour before I decided to have my coffee. The flavor was still slightly there for the first few drinks of my coffee, but it washed out without ruining the flavor from my coffee at all. I’ve yet to try the stronger nicotine levels on this one, but I’m looking forward to it.
The SYX Blueberry nicotine pouches is just quietly one of my new favorites. It’s a subtle flavor that leaves you feeling like you’ve recently been eating fresh blueberries. I’ve been trying the strong and extra strong nicotine pouches on this flavor, and both have a similar bite to them with the same subtle flavor.
I can say the extra strong nicotine pouches seems to hold its nic bite quite a bit longer than the lower level pouches. I’d suggest only leaving this in for long periods if you’re used to a high nicotine intake. The flavor being so subtle had me concerned it wouldn’t last for long, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor held out like on a slow release timer.
I can see using the low strength nicotine pouches for long stints gaming or in the office. Excellent flavor if you’re worried about being overpowered with flavor on your first try of nicotine pouches.
One that caught me off guard was the SYX Original nicotine pouch in low strength. Since I’ve not been a smoker for nearly 11 years, having anything that tastes like tobacco flavor in my mouth is odd as hell I won’t lie. But I didn’t keep it in long because it tasted like tobacco.
I can say though, for a tobacco flavored nicotine pouch, it was smooth, almost like an infused tobacco that’s been slow cured with care. It was mild and pleasant on the palate, and as much as I hate tobacco, it was an enjoyable flavor. Hence getting rid of it as soon as I had a feel for the flavor.
If you like smooth soft tobacco nicotine pouches that have that subtle woody and earthy tones with what I can only describe as a soft note of whisky flavor in the back, you’ll like this one. I can say the nic bite on this was barely noticeable.
Now for ones I’d tried before getting this parcel.
SYX Tropical nicotine pouches seems to have a nostalgic tropical punch flavor that reminds me heaps of one of the popular juice brands we used to buy in North America. It also reminds me of another popular gummy candy flavor. It lasts for ages, as most of the SYX line flavors seem to do, and the nic bite is smooth and takes away any cravings I’ve had.
I seem to leave the Tropical in for longer, and I’ve been mostly using the strong nicotine level. It’s got to be in my top 3 for flavors all day. And don’t worry if you’re not a passion fruit fan, there’s none in it. I can’t stand passion fruit and often find it ruins tropical flavor mixes.
There’s no trace of it in SYX’s Tropical, so you can definitely look forward to that. I get hints of papaya, mango, and guava flavors all mixed together seamlessly. Enjoy.
SYX Wild Cherry nicotine pouches reminds me of the old school cherry hard candies the olds used to pull out at Christmas time. Remember the ribbons and peppermints, and the little spicy red cherry balls? Somehow, SYX have taken that spicy cherry flavor and turned it into a flavor for their nic pouches, and they’ve given it such an amazing bite that would match the real thing.
I often found cherry vape juice would have chemical tastes to them, or they’d actually give me a headache, possibly an allergy who knows. But the nicotine pouches don’t give me that chemical taste, nor do I get the gnarly headaches I do from artificial cherry flavors.
The flavor lasts for ages. I’ve kept these in regularly for an hour, and they never lose flavor. I generally get a dry mouth before these run out of flavor. Stay hydrated folks.
For a strong flavor with a bite to match, Wild Cherry nicotine pouches is a great choice.
I’ve got another bunch of flavors and strengths to try, so stay tuned for what’s to come. Oh, and I’m waiting for another parcel from the team yet again. Can you believe these guys? Right on Christmas, and not only are they sending me stuff to review, but they’re gonna keep me stocked right up till New Years at this rate. Guess I can say goodbye to the vape pod that’s been barely holding on.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Hope you have a safe and wonderfully festive break.
Kind regards,
Jack Simmons
